Crystal Caverns is a torch-lit cave platformer where every ledge glimmers with gems and every shadow hides a threat. You descend through winding rock passages lit only by flickering torches, hunting the crystals that light up the dark while bats swoop, spiders skitter and lava bubbles below. It is a pure action and reflex challenge: pick your route, time your jumps and stay one step ahead of the creatures that share the tunnels. Each gem you snatch adds to your score, so the caverns reward both the cautious explorer who survives and the daring one who grabs everything before reaching the glowing exit door.

Controls are simple and instantly familiar: press the left and right arrows to run, and Space or the up arrow to jump. Bats and spiders can be beaten by landing on them from above, but touch one from the side and it costs one of your six hearts, so height and timing are everything. Floor spikes punish sloppy landings, and stretches of lava must be crossed by riding drifting platforms that never wait for you. Reach the glowing door to clear the stage. Across 15 levels the difficulty climbs steadily, adding tighter jumps, faster enemies and trickier platform timing as the caves grow deeper.

Smart play means reading each room before you leap: line up your stomps so you drop squarely onto a bat instead of clipping its side, and step onto moving platforms as they arrive rather than chasing them over the lava. Weigh every detour for gems against the hearts it might cost, since points mean nothing if you fall.
