Lights Out is a compact logic puzzle built around one deceptively simple rule: every press flips a cross of lights, and your job is to turn them all off. Tap a glowing cell and it toggles along with its neighbours above, below, left and right — so switching one light off can flick three others back on. That chain reaction is the whole hook. What looks like a quick clean-up quickly becomes a chess-like exercise in planning your presses, and clearing a fully lit grid delivers the kind of tidy, satisfying click that keeps you starting just one more board.

Playing is pure point-and-click: click any cell to toggle it plus its orthogonal neighbours, and keep going until the entire board is dark before your moves run out. There are no timers to panic over — the pressure comes from the limited moves and the puzzle itself. Across the 15 levels the difficulty climbs steadily. Early boards are small with light scrambles that teach the flip pattern, then the grids grow larger and the scrambles get deeper, demanding real sequencing rather than trial and error. The key strategy is to think in whole rows: solve the top line first, then use the row beneath to fix the lights each press leaves behind, working downward until only the bottom row remains to plan around.
